Hi Ivery:

Thanks for checking out the post.

So if you're referring to the snowball mic, this is a $100 USB plug and play mic that is very easy to set up.

You literally just need to take the mic out of the box, plug it into your USB port and it's ready to go. No software to install.

Now the only thing you need to keep in mind is that you'll need an audio capturing and editing software to capture and edit your recordings. As the post suggests you might go with something cheap and simple like Adobe audition or Sony soundforge. These programs are very PC friendly and easy to learn and use.

Speakerwise, if you're just using this set up for voice over work, you don't really need anything majorly fancy to playback your recordings. If you're into something more complex like music productions and actual broadcast ready content, then you're going into another level of equipment.

But for the purpose of just simple voice over auditioning and light production work, this stuff I mentioned above is just fine on it's own.

Hope this helps! Come back soon! =)

I adore Gregg Berger as a talanted voice actor! The times he made me laugh in shows like Garfield when I was growing up are unforgettable!
Rock (and roll) on Gregg!
